The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (BAFTA Los Angeles) celebrated The Emmys over the weekend with their annual BAFTA Los Angeles TV Tea. The event was held Saturday afternoon prior to The Primetime Emmy Awards, the 2012 TV Tea celebrated excellence in television by honoring this year's nominees from the UK, Commonwealth and America.
Leading television executives, celebrities, BAFTA members, as well as Emmy Nominees came out to celebrate including, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons (Modern Family), Jacqueline Bisset, Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), Neil Cross (Luther), Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey), Kate Flannery (The Office), Spencer Liff (So You Think You Can Dance), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep), Nigel Lythgoe (So You Think You Can Dance), Christopher McDonald (Harry's Law; Boardwalk Empire)Dominic Monaghan (Lost), Stephen Moyer (True Blood), Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad), Sarah Paulson (Game Change), Jason Ritter (Parenthood), Jay Roach (Game Change), Christopher Scott (So You Think You Can Dance), Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family), Stacey Tookey (So You Think You Can Dance), Ariel Winter (Modern Family) and more.
Classic TV Examiner caught up with actor PhilipWinchester where he talks about his action packed show "Strike Back." The popular show was recently renewed for another season by Cinemax. A high-octane, globe-spanning thriller with storylines ripped from today's headlines, "Strike Back," the network's first original primetime series in more than 15 years, focuses on two members of a top-secret intelligence agency known as Section 20.
