Cinemax's "Strike Back" won't be back until the summer — with new castmembers Dougray Scott and Robson Green in tow — but it's always fun to get a look at how at exactly how the mayhem involving Stonebridge, Scott and company comes together.
In this exclusive behind-the-scenes clip, star Philip Winchester talks us through a sequence in which our heroes from Section 20 commandeer a boat, using every weapon at their disposal.

Show Summary: A high-octane, globe-spanning thriller with storylines ripped from today’s headlines, Strike Back, the network’s first original primetime series in more than 15 years, focuses on two members of a top-secret intelligence agency known as Section 20: Michael Stonebridge, a British sergeant on the elite counter-terrorism team, and Damien Scott, a former U.S. Delta Force operative who was discharged on the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Stonebridge, Scott and the rest of Section 20 criss-cross the globe on the trail of a deadly international terrorist named Latif, who is planning a major attack involving a cache of WMD that could have global repercussions.

Strikeback Season 3 Behind The Scenes 1
“We do blow up cars on Wednesdays on 'Strike Back.' It's very important that we do that. It's in the contract.” - Philip Winchester
This summer, “Strike Back” is returning for its third season on Cinemax, as Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton reprise their roles as Michael Stonebridge and Damien Scott: two of the primary members of Section 20, a secretive British paramilitary unit that hunts down terrorists around the world.
Although the third season premiere is still a few months away, Cinemax has passed along a new exclusive video from being-the-scenes of “Strike Back” from the 43rd day of production in Johannesburg, South Africa. In the clip, Winchester describes a planned car explosion stunt and he even details a slight mishap he suffered while shooting the scene…
Also returning this season on “Strike Back” are Rhona Mitra, Michelle Lukes and Liam Garrigan, with Robson Green (“Wire in the Blood”) also appearing as a new addition to the Section 20 team. “Hemlock Grove” co-star and recent “Doctor Who” guest star, Dougray Scott also has a major role this season as a rogue operative named James Leatherby, with Milauna Jackson (“Blood Done Sign My Name”) also signed to portray a “key player” in the new storyline.
A specific premiere date for “Strike Back” Season 3 hasn’t been announced yet, but the last two seasons debuted in mid August, so it will probably stay in that general time frame.

Sky has released two new promotional images for the fourth series of Strike Back.
The new ten-part series will air on Sky1 this summer, with Robson Green (Soldier Soldier) joining the cast as Lt Colonel Philip Locke, a commanding officer in chief, alongside Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) as Sebastian Gray, a former MI6 agent turned independent intelligence officer working in Beirut, and Dougray Scott (Mission Impossible II) as James Leatherby, a wealthy rogue operative and self-styled war junkie.
Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton will return as counterterrorism operatives Sgt. Michael Stonebridge and Sgt. Damien Scott.
